Meet our Staff

Clive Roads

Clive Roads joined McCartneys in 1983 when the firm took over Worcester Market. Although selling the finished sheep at Ludlow on a Monday he is based at Worcester and is responsible for the day to day running of the office/market and professional matters.

He joined the full partnership in 1989 having been an associate partner for the previous two years. Before joining McCartneys he spend eleven years involved with selling pedigree livestock at a time when major cattle and sheep breeds were first being imported. Over the last ten years this pedigree foundation has come to fruition coupled with the new livestock market situated adjacent to the M5 motorway at Worcester, this combination having attracted many cattle and sheep breed societies to use the facilities for their national and regional sales.
